The Student Recreation Centre of the Universitat Politècnica de València hosted the UPV Open 2026 on 23 and 24 May, an official speedcubing competition organised by the Spanish Speedcubing Association (AES) and the World Cube Association (WCA).
The event brought together competitors from different parts of Spain, who took part in several official events for solving the Rubik’s Cube and other WCA-recognised puzzles. The competition was held at the Student Recreation Centre, further establishing the UPV as a venue for activities promoted by student associations and open to the wider community.
