Yesterday, Wednesday 23 September, at 17:00, we held an orxatada (horchata party) on the ground floor of the Student Recreation Centre to welcome the new academic year and promote CALUMFEST 2026, the UPV’s official welcome party, aimed at all students of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

On 2 October, the Student Recreation Centre (CALUM) and the area around it will be transformed to host CALUMFEST, a day designed to celebrate the start of the academic year and bring students together.

The programme of activities will start at 18:00, with beer pong, giant table football, archery and many more surprises. Then, from 20:00 to midnight, music will take over, with two stages set up for an evening party full of atmosphere and energy.

It will be a great opportunity to get together with friends, meet new people and enjoy an event designed by and for the university community.

More than 1,800 students.

Two stages.

A big welcome to the new academic year.

All the information and news about the event will be posted on Instagram: @calumfest.
