The Student Recreation Centre supports sustainable mobility on the Vera campus: it has a monitored bicycle car park, a restricted-access Polibici area with a charger for electric bikes, and a Correos CityPaq locker for collecting your parcels.

Bicycle parking

The Centre has parking for 400 bicycles, monitored by security cameras. It is open 24 hours a day and is located in the basement of the building.

Polibici: secure parking with charger

As part of the Strategic Sustainable Mobility Plan of the Universitat Politècnica de València, a Polibici area with restricted access and an electric charger has been set up in the Student Recreation Centre car park.

This secure parking space encourages the use of the bicycle as an ecological, convenient and efficient means of transport on campus. It is fitted with an electronic lock and a charging station for electric bicycles, and it is located in an area under video surveillance.

How to use Polibici

  • Access with your UPV card.
  • Make sure the door is closed when you leave.
  • Use a secure lock and lock the bike correctly.
  • In the event of any incident, contact the security staff: +34 963 877 000 (extension 78888).

CityPaq: collect your parcels at the Centre

On the ground floor of the Student Recreation Centre there is a Correos CityPaq locker, a service that makes it easy to collect online purchases and personal deliveries. It is intended for members of the university community, and you can collect your parcels whenever the building is open.

How to start using it

  1. Register as a user on the CityPaq website (opens in a new tab) or in the CityPaq app for Android and iOS.
  2. Choose the Student Recreation Centre locker as your favourite pick-up point for your purchases.
  3. When a parcel arrives, collect it from the locker with the code you receive.

CityPaq saves you time: the lockers are discreet and the Correos service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. More information on the CityPaq website or in the explanatory video by Correos (opens in a new tab).
