On 23 June, to mark International Women in Engineering Day, the Student Recreation Centre is hosting an event that analyses the evolution of women’s presence in this field and its future challenges.

The event, held at the Student Recreation Centre, features an institutional welcome by Silvia Terrasa, M. Esther Gómez-Martín and Davinia Bono, followed by a keynote talk by Regina Monsalve Mayáns on the current situation of engineering in Spain.

The event also includes a roundtable with professionals from UPV and organisations such as Veolia, Autoliv and the Júcar River Basin Authority, and concludes with a networking session.
