Patatas Lázaro has presented the award for its creative challenge aimed at students from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), an initiative launched to celebrate the company’s 80th anniversary. The challenge invited students to reinterpret the brand’s history, values and purpose through art.

The winning artwork was created by young artist Carmen Muñoz Estellés, whose piece stands out for blending the organic and human worlds as a metaphor for the people and values that have shaped the company’s journey.

The award ceremony took place on 19 December at the UPV Student Recreation Centre, with the attendance of the jury, company representatives and participating students.

Through this initiative, Patatas Lázaro strengthens its commitment to culture, innovation and young talent, fostering collaboration between the university and business sectors. The artworks will be on display in the Ximo Mora Exhibition Hall at the Student Recreation Centre, until 9 January 2026.
